This is no longer under maintenance, since its goal has been achieved but I still use hugo^1 as it is simpler and easier to write and deploy.

A single binary blog

After reading this article by Andrei Ciobanu it sparkled in me to do the same thing but with rust. It is going to be a bit bigger than micro ;)

To achieve that I'll be using the following:

• Sailfish for templating
• hyper for http server
• rust-embed for adding the files into the binary.

Goals

• the whole blog should be a single binary
• keep everything in one request
• try to keep it under 50kB and a hard set at 100kB before any kind of compression or minification.
