2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2023-05-23ARM: dts: Unify pinctrl-single pin group nodes for omap3Tony Lindgren
We want to unify the pinctrl-single pin group nodes to use naming "pins". Otherwise non-standad pin group names will add make dtbs checks errors when the pinctrl-single yaml binding gets merged. 2022-04-14ARM: dts: Fix more boolean properties with valuesRob Herring
Boolean properties in DT are present or not present and don't take a value. A property such as 'foo = <0>;' evaluated to true. IOW, the value doesn't matter. It may have been intended that 0 values are false, but there is no change in behavior with this patch. 2022-02-18ARM: dts: logicpd-torpedo: Add isp1763 support to baseboardAdam Ford
The baseboard has an ISP1763 USB controller acting as a host. Since the pinmuxing for the corresponding IRQ is different between OMAP35 and DM37, the pinmux has been placed in the kit-level files, while the common code is placed into the baseboard file. 2020-09-10ARM: dts: omap: replace status value "ok" by "okay"Adrian Schmutzler
While the DT parser recognizes "ok" as a valid value for the "status" property, it is actually mentioned nowhere. Use the proper value "okay" instead, as done in the majority of files already. 2020-08-17ARM: dts: logicpd-torpedo-baseboard: Fix broken audioAdam Ford
Older versions of U-Boot would pinmux the whole board, but as the bootloader got updated, it started to only pinmux the pins it needed, and expected Linux to configure what it needed. Unfortunately this caused an issue with the audio, because the mcbsp2 pins were configured in the device tree, they were never referenced by the driver. When U-Boot stopped muxing the audio pins, the audio died. This patch adds the references to the associate the pin controller with the mcbsp2 driver which makes audio operate again. 2020-05-05ARM: dts: Add 32KHz clock as default clock sourceLokesh Vutla
Clocksource to timer configured in pwm mode can be selected using the DT property ti,clock-source. There are few pwm timers which are not selecting the clock source and relying on default value in hardware or selected by driver. Instead of relying on default value, always select the clock source from DT. 2019-11-14ARM: dts: logicpd-torpedo: Remove unnecessary notes/commentsAdam Ford
There used to be a bug in the video driver that caused the timings for the LCD to calculate in a way on the DM3730 which made it hang. The work around for this bug was to set CONFIG_OMAP2_DSS_MIN_FCK_PER_PCK=4 in the kernel. This work around is no longer needed as the video drivers have been corrected. This patch removes the legacy note. Signed-off-by: Adam Ford <aford173@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2019-11-14ARM: dts: logicpd-torpedo-baseboard: Enable HDQAdam Ford
The baseboard of the Logic PD Torpedo development kit has a socket for a rechargable battery. The battery is monitored by a charger which can communicate of the the 1-wire HDQ pin. 2019-10-21ARM: dts: logicpd-torpedo-baseboard: Reduce video regulator chatterAdam Ford

2019-09-06ARM: dts: logicpd-torpedo-baseboard: Fix missing videoAdam Ford
A previous commit removed the panel-dpi driver, which made the Torpedo video stop working because it relied on the dpi driver for setting video timings. Now that the simple-panel driver is available in omap2plus, this patch migrates the Torpedo dev kits to use a similar panel and remove the manual timing requirements.
